Implementing a whole business system such as Voyager requires a commitment from all parties involved in the project; we have developed a unique implementation & training methodology, to

Project Management
A typical project is about blending together those elements that we supply, with those
you already have or may acquire elsewhere. These elements include a mixture of hardware, software, infrastructure, personnel, skills and business processes. A Mindscape project manager's role is to coordinate the implementation over a mutually agreed timescale, such that all these project
elements work in harmony.
Software installation & Configuration
Usually, we will install supplied software, create default user accounts and security settings, configure scripts to cover basic system functions, create live and test/training environments, set up communications for remote access and support and hand over the system.
Networking
Increasingly, more complex networking is required in terms of configuring Dataservers, Appservers, Webservers, Firewalls and Client PCs. We have a well qualified team of cross platform integration consultants who can be called upon to assist you.
Consultancy
The implementation of any application software package within a business involves
a compromise between current business practices and the application's procedures. Our Application Consultants are skilled in
both the apparel industry and Voyager, and can provide expert guidance on how best to implement Voyager
Custom Development
Where a facility is required that is not currently part of Voyager , custom development may be required. Where this is the case, it is conducted to the same rigorous ISO 9000 standards that are applied to the development of Voyager.
Data conversion and set-up
We have in the past converted data from legacy systems and loaded it into Voyager .
Integration
Whilst the Voyager family of products cater for most of the functionality required by a typical apparel company, we are quite often asked to integrate into third party systems,
a process in which we have extensive experience.
System administration & Configuration
Mindscape can provide systems administration functionality for those clients who do not have the appropriate skills in-house. This can either be on an ad-hoc basis as required, or a contracted part-time basis.
Performance Tuning
Voyager is built over the Oracle database. Oracle is renowned for requiring little attention, but does benefit from occasional performance tuning and Mindscape can provide this service as required.
On-site Support
We provide general support services, ranging from one-to-one coaching, answering
how-do-I questions and running workshops
to reinforce specific topics.
Documentation
A comprehensive package of electronic documentation is supplied with Voyager ,In addition, Mindscape is ideally placed to help produce your internal procedures documentation in conjunction with your staff.
Help Desk
We have a fully staffed help desk and use electronic incident recording to ensure accurate tracking, escalation and resolution. Facilities are available to report and track incidents on the Internet.
Post implementation reviews
Businesses evolve, and new releases of Voyager contain additional functionality. We can audit your implementation to make sure that your business is still getting the best advantage from Voyager
Business changes
We have considerable experience in planning business change and in mitigating the cost and effect of these changes on the IT infrastructure.
Training
We offer a variety of training courses and methods, ranging from a group classroom format to individual on the job training. Over the years, we have concluded that the most important thing is to ensure that training is timely, so training is usually given on a "just in time" basis.
